I don't know where the sudden surge of interest in mustaches has come from.... but I'm on the bandwagon. Of course my dad has ALWAYS had a mustache. Probably since he was first able to grow a mustache. So I consider myself a fan because he's such a dedicated wearer ;)
This is 2 coats of China Glaze Sea Spray & the black details were done using black acrylic paint and a skinny striper brush.
The design was loosely inspired by my new stackable glasses/nose/mustache ring that I got from Forever21.
(I can't find it on the site anymore.... Here is the same thing, but silver & $9.99 at Payless. It's funny that the pieces are upside down and out of order for their stock photo!)
I can't help it:
I mustache you a question, what do you think of this new fad?
I changed up the design a bit for the second day of wear. My white nails had started to chip. (previous look) I changed my Au Champagne nails to be China Glaze Pink Voltage. This is more like the inspiration look. Enjoy!
These were once again something I saw on Pinterest and had to recreate. It was this design, but I wanted it to be monochromatic... so I left out the pink and went with sparkly white. In the original post, she mentioned that she had them done with gel at a nail salon. Mine just use regular polish.
I used Orly Au Champagne, Kiss Nail Art Striper in black, the glittery nail is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Celeb City topped with OPI Crown Me Already!
After 2 days, my chevron still looked good, but the rest were chipping.... so I did paint them pink and changed the sparkly nail to solid black. I'll post pictures of that once I get them edited properly.
Good morning ladies! Here I wanted to recreate a cute manicure done by Deniz @ Emerald Sparkled here. I used the exact same polish (China Glaze Secondhand Silk) and acrylic paints in black and white for the heart details. Her design was originally inspired by this look of Rina @ Simply Rins. So credit goes back all around!
I just used this simple stamping look the other day and got quite a few compliments on it at work. I painted my nails with 2 coats of Orly's Velvet Rope. Then stamped using China Glaze Millennium and the image from BM 316.
I love the fine silver glitter in Velvet Rope. It also has such a rich & gorgeous purple shade.
I loved this design on Pinterest and I adapted it to accent nails. The polishes I used are Sinful Colors Rainstorm & Snow Me White. Red acrylic paint for the hearts and striping tape to make the lines so straight.
I mixed it up a bit for the other hand.
This design was inspired by this look on Pinterest. I cannot for the life of me figure out the specific post it came from. :( That can be a bad thing about Pinterest. Here it is:
Finally some pictures of the other Lustre Shine I bought recently. Pictured is 3 thin coats. It is quite sheer, my nails are short now, but if they were much longer I would probably choose to layer it over another polish. There is visible nail line.
The color shifts from reddish pink to bright orange. Lots of glassflecks :)
Here is an underwater shot to try and better show the color shift. Too bad it's blurry and the water has bubbles! Lol. So sorry!
