Good Morning Glory

Sally Hansen Salon Effects strips. I scored these on clearance at Walmart for something like only $2-$3. That's the only time I'm willing to buy these strips. I think they last the best out of all that I've tried, but I would rather spend $8 on a bottle of polish that will last me 100 manicures.... Rather than spend it on a one time use product.
These were fun to wear. They are white with a purple toile (?) print with flowers.

  2. These are gorgeous! Love the antique feel - they would be fab with a lacy dress

  3. It looks like your nails are short enough you might be able to squeeze two uses out of a pack, by doubling up some of the wraps; I know people who do that and I'll be trying it out one of these days. Granted, they're still pricey for the use you can get out of them, but it helps a little. Even more when you buy them on clearance sales!

  7. They're really pretty :) I know what you mean about the normal price though - I could get an OPI for that!

  8. I am with you here - much rather spend $8 on a bottle of polish then a box of strips - and not that many of 'em do I really care for the design/color. I get urber tired of 'em faster than anything and want a 'polish' change before they are done. I have polished over these when that happens - harder to get off but not as hard as glitter is to remove. I still have about 4 boxes of these from the first release of them when they were only badly done glitter looks and plain colors of which all the shades seemed odd (like cheap off brand crayons). Yet I am never anywhere/right time to see these on sale for $2-$3 per...I might pick up a few newer designs if I ever saw them on sale...this pattern is still at full price at 'my' Rite Aide which is what I have to depend on for drug store polish...Walgreens is 35 mils and it's 65 to Walmart so rare I ever go now with gas the price it is. I don't have places to buy polish on any normal day to day drive - thus is the live of semi rural living.
