Barielle Haul - Part 4 (Falling Star)

Last but not least is Falling Star. This is the color I was most excited about and it did not disappoint.
It's a cobalt blue creme polish with copper/orange SQUARE glitter. That's right square. On previous swatches I've seen it just looked like regular hex glitter, but oh no.... it's not.
The formula was a bit thick. It applied with the same "glue-iness" as Sweet Addiction. It could use a bit of thinner to lighten it up. Pictured is 2 coats.

 Look at the square glitter!
 Ah-mazing!
That is all of my most recent Barielle haul. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Again, I bought these polishes through the online deal site Hautelook. $4 each.

  1. I purchased a couple Barielle polishes separately at Winners for $4.99 each only to realize that the two polishes I purchased came in a pack of 5 (regular sized bottles) with Falling Star for only $16.99 - needless to say, every time I see this polish I always feel slightly disappointed. I love this polish so much!

    Anyway, I still can't a find a polish I don't like. It's becoming a serious problem. :D

  7. I bought this and it was so thick, I couldn't even get it on my nails. :o( I poured A TON of thinner in it, and it was still so thick that it wouldn't level out. Now the bottle's too full to put more thinner in it, so it is unusable. it is an insanely beautiful combination though! I love blues with orange glitter. Lacquistry's shop on Etsy has some great ones!

    1. :( Maybe pour some out in an old empty polish bottle? Try to thin it down more?

  14. I have this shade also. I like it equally well as you do. It's fun when there is glitter in the formula and it does not leave a bumpy top to the finished nail. Plus the colors here are great. This shade is still available via Barielle.com by the way folks. They always have buy one $8 - get 2nd 50% off. But frequently (get on their mailing list) they offer free ship, or 30% off, or 50% off everything. When they have the % off - the polishes are still buy one next is 50% off. Shipping is always free over $50 - but often they do a reduced shipping like $10 or free for 24 hrs. They run specials like above all the time.
