I took inspiration for this design from Nail Art Express. I liked her design so much, I just copied it. Then used the same colors for a simple look on my right hand. I've got a mix of lightbox pictures and my old way of shooting pictures, so let me know what way you prefer.

On my right hand I just did skinny white french tips with 3 red dots going down on one side.

I'll post a tutorial of how I painted the left hand Nautical Nails a little later. Come back and see. :)

ReplyDeleteWow this is incredibly good. It looks so neat!
ReplyDeleteWow so love this look!! Mainly coz I love the Dri Co-Bolt's shade of blue though :P
ReplyDeleteI think the light box makes the gold show up better, and you cen see finer detailing on the anchor, wheel and ropes; but then the old way make the blue on the other hand stand out more, like you can see the metallic-ness of it.
I think for nail designs with a lot of detail (Like the left hand) the light box is best, but for ones with large areas of colour, that you want to show off (Like the right hand), your old way is best.
Just all in my opinion of course :P
These are great!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I think I like the old way better.
