Nautical Nails - Tutorial

I started by painting my nails solid blue. I used Sally Hansen Insta Dri Co-Bolt Blue. Then I painted these details using a small paintbrush and acrylic paints. White and tan.

Then I added red acrylic paint.

Some darker brown acrylic paint on the anchors and wheel for shading.

Dark brown paint for the rope and some light tan shading on the wheel.

China Glaze 2030 for the anchors and dots along the rope to show the twisted portions.

Topcoat once everything is completely dry!
Thanks again to Nail Art Express for inspiring this design. :)
