Another Snakeskin

I think snakeskin is my favorite animal print. I've done a few snakeskin manicures before, and here is another I wore recently. I sponged on some different shades of gray and silver then stamped the new Bundle Monster snakeskin image with Konad special black polish. (That's why the clean up is so terrible, the Konad black is particularly difficult to remove!)

I got a new lightbox to try, and the following pictures were taken in it. I think it blurs out some of the details though! :( I think my previous method of taking pictures (like the very first picture in this post) would come out clearer. What do you think? Any tips for lightbox pictures? I might need some help....

  3. These are gorgeous! You're right about the lightbox kind of obscuring some details. I like your old method of taking pictures, but hopefully someone will have some good tips about the lightbox and you can get EVEN better pictures! My only suggestion would be that the lightbox makes the flash reflection too noticeable; To get rid of this I usually cover my flash with a white piece of paper. So, you could try covering your lights/flash with a thin piece of paper!

  4. @Ashesela & Cupcake - thanks!
@nevorpurify - The funny part is that I wasn't even using the flash on my camera in my lightbox pictures! The reflection you see is from the lights outside of the lightbox walls.... I thought it was supposed to diffuse the light more, but instead it does the opposite. In my old way of doing pictures I just hold them under my lamp and use the flash with a low ISO setting.... I don't know what's going on! I'm so confused! Lol

  6. The lightbox pictures look like they aren't all the way in focus... did you have to use a long exposure?
