These are the nails I'm wearing to the baby shower. I tried several different things and they all looked like crap, so I went with a simple color and some rhinestones.
China Glaze Sea Spray 2 coats
Random rhinestones...
I topcoated over the rhinestones after these pictures and they lost some of their faceted look. I'll try to remember to report back on how they hold up.
I love this!!! It looks so delicate. And the rhinestones and pearls are so artfully placed.
ReplyDeleteWhat an elegant and sweet mani for a baby shower!
ReplyDeleteI love Sea Spray, faded blues like that are always so flattering. Usually rhinestones are not my thing but these look really pretty!

ReplyDeleteAs Tita said, elegant. I cannot see myself going to a baby shower with nails decked in diapers, bottles and diaper pins (surprised we even know what a diaper pin still looks like!) So this would be a look I would really lean toward for a baby shower event. Funny, I did not buy Seaspray when it first came out. Then I kept seeing it as a great base for a lot of things. Now that it's out on the classics wall at Sally's (along with the entire Ahoy collection that CG snubbed Sally's on selling last winter), I picked up a bottle and have been loving it like many of you - and I don't go for light pastels at all typically - but Seaspray is just a great dusty blue-gray that works so well.
