This is the second set of mini polishes I have ready to review and share with you.
Unforgettable Moments can be found at Payless Shoe Source. They sell individual 10mL bottles of nail polish for $2.99 or a set of 3 mini (7mL) size polishes for $7.99. My mom found these mini sets on clearance for $1, so she bought them all. I know... she's awesome. This second mini set I dubbed "Gems" because although the set is not named, each polish is named reflecting the jewel tones.
First up is Sapphire. This is gorgeous! And a one coater! Delightful formula. Very dark blue with a rich shimmer. It can take on the look of black polish under low light, however.
Amethyst is a rich dark purple that is quite vampy and sexy. 2 easy coats, no problems with the formula here.
Garnet is a rich burgundy red with golden/copper microglitter. This bottle's formula was a bit pickier to deal with. It was a little thinner than the others. It took anywhere from 2-3 coats in places. That minor annoyance is totally worth it when you see that beautiful color!

ReplyDeleteI'm not normally a fan of dark polishes but I do like the jewel tones. Bring on emerald and topaz!
