Running around naked that is... Or as we like to say : "Naked is when you don't have any clothes on. Nekkid is when you don't have any clothes on and you're up to no good!" Lol. I was running so short on time that I didn't have time to polish my nails! Shock I know! I just had some errands to run around town with my sister and brother in law, so they tolerated my nakedness! Kimberly did point out that my nails are stained enough that it looks like I've been smoking for 20 years.... So I will share some pics edited to black and white ;)
They just needed a light buffing.... now the staining is a bit better! But what polish-aholic's nails aren't just a little stained? There's nothing wrong with it in my eyes, because I know I'm just going to cover it with a different polish anyway! What does it matter what they look like underneath?

Yeah, smoker's nails. So sad. I think the scariest manicure we polish-aholics could wear this Halloween is naked nails. Aaaaaag! The horror! Avert your eyes!

ReplyDeleteScary stuff! Don't worry about the staining- nobody gives a damn when it's covered with beautiful coloured polish! :-)
ReplyDeleteI agree! Who cares if they're stained! I love when people tell me I should do something, like switch my base coat because "it's not working". I just laugh to myself and think "they must not be a polish crazy who uses various different base coats, colors and polishes on a daily basis -- sometimes several times in a day".
ReplyDeleteI go naked from time to time. I would do it more, but my nails peel when they aren't polished. :( I thought about getting my nails shellac-ed with a french mani. I was told you can still polish over and remove polish when you use shellac. I don't know. I take prenatal vitamins for my hair and nails. So they've become pretty strong, but my nails still peel.
ReplyDeleteYour nails are amazing btw!!! Perfect shape and length!!! I'm very picky about how nails are shaped and the length. My biggest pet peave: when people have nails in different lengths. Like one super long one. If I break one, they all go.

ReplyDeleteMy nails are stained all the time and now I'm wearing Rodeo Fanatic so they'll be even more stained soon :P But I don't care either, I don't want to go without polish anyways :)
ReplyDeleteMy nails are always stained too! I paint them french continuously in the hope that it will grow out, but I end up painting the whole nail anyway! Now I don't bother because as you said, they are covered up anyway :)
ReplyDeleteMy nails used to be really stained too! Today, for the first time in ever I went out without nail polish. They're not yellow anymore :P
