Teal & Polka Dots

This is a look I recreated after seeing it on someone's blog about a week ago. I'm sorry but I've lost track and don't know which one of you guys it was. :( I'm so sorry, if this was your design or you know where I saw it... please let me know and I'll credit you!

Started with China Glaze For Audrey.

Wet N Wild Black Creme diagonal french tips.

White polish with a striping brush for a dividing line.

Add white polish polka dots using a dotting tool.

Topcoat and it looks gorgeous! Thanks to whoever's original design this was!

  6. Very pretty! In a pinch you can use the wrong end of a paintbrush for dotting :D really anything with a rounded end. I've had to get creative when my dotting tools weren't large enough before. I just love polka dots and this had just enough to make it playful :)

  14. I still want For Audrey! It's so pretty. I thought if I ignored the lemming for long enough it would go away, but it won't!

  17. Nice mani for September's Ovarian Cancer Awareness month. Teal is the color to support their cause.

  20. Hello :) I did this mani ages ago and couldn't remember where I had seen it until I came across it just now!

Here is my version of it: http://julienailedit.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/purple-polka-dot-tips.html

  21. I had repinned this from somebody on Pinterest and then copied it last night using some different colors (Sephora Yellow Umbrella instead of For Audrey) and it has turned out super cute. Also, I don't have any striping polishes or brushes so I did the old fashioned taped french manicure but it worked out perfect!

  22. Hello! :)

I moved my blog URL so I'm reposting my comment :)

I was inspired by your mani and I tried it out for myself! Here's the link to my post: http://christinaalexia.blogspot.com/2012/03/spotty-funky-tape-mani.html

My mom adored my mani and asked me to paint her nails the same too! Here's the post for that: http://christinaalexia.blogspot.com/2012/04/another-spotty-funky-tape-mani.html

Your blog is awesome and I enjoy seeing your nail art :)
