This is a different way to do a french manicure. You can do two thin tips. :)
Base is 2 coats of Sinful Colors Savage. It dries to a semi-matte finish, almost like neons. Sorry but these pictures are not color accurate at all. It's a true medium teal, but my pics make it look far too blue. Sorry!
Using a striper brush, paint thin french tips using Essence The One and Only.
I then added a second thin french line using Pure Ice Silver Mercedes. (I recently discovered this polish is another dupe for China Glaze Milennium/Sally Hansen Silver Sweep! For $2, you can't beat that!)
It's fun to mix matte and shiny finishes. I just hate that they never seem to hold up that well. :(

Thanks for the awesome tips! I love the color combo

Great color combo. :)
ReplyDeleteLove! The colours and mix of matte and shiny are just gorgeous.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I don't rely on the relative glossiness of my polishes when doing a matte and shiny mani, simply because matte polish chips like crazy. I prefer to seal everything with top coat and then use matte and shiny top coat to get everything just right. It takes longer and does look a little different, but at least it'll last for a few days.
oh beautiful! I love that you did two tiny tips.. and the colors/finishes together...AAAAMAZING!
ReplyDeleteOoh lovely!
ReplyDeleteNew way to see the french manicure, I love it! Regards

ReplyDeleteHow beautiful, I can copy?
ReplyDeleteI like this look a lot. I had been using my Striping polish from Sally's (Stripe Rite) to do one line on the tips - but I like it with 2!!! I really like the silver metallic - will have to pick up some good nail art brushes here soon.
ReplyDeleteI ♥ how they turn out! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute!
ReplyDeleteThis looks gorgeous! I love that you left Savage in it's matte form.
