Franken Inpired Nail Art

I won a contest! Well, sort of... Wuliao Nails just closed this contest seen here. There were three prizes, and she ended up only getting three entries.... So I guess we all won by default. lol. It was actually quite difficult! The gist was that you had to create a franken, name it, then do some design of nail art using your franken and having it relate to the name you gave it. Gee wiz, here is what I ended up submitting. At least I think I'm funny.

My franken was made using a duochrome pigment that has a green flash to it and a brown base. It's kind of murky and I like it. It reminds me of those fluorescent beetles (I don't even know if thats the right word, but hopefully you know what I mean) and the dirty brown base made me think of the singer Ke$ha because when I see her I think she definitely needs a bath. Lol.  

So I ended up naming my franken "Ke$ha's Got a New Beetle."

 I incorporated the font used on her album cover, scarab beetles, and can you tell the species of beetle on the accent nail? No? How about from this angle?

Yeah, I threw in a Volkswagen Beetle too! Lol. I actually had a VW Beetle myself until late last year. I got the cutie while still in college, and it served me well for several years. :)
