Sunken Treasure

These were some fun nails I did the other night for work. It's the same technique as my Glitter in the Air post but using different colors. I love how they turned out! Reminded me of mermaids, jewels, and gold coins! They didn't last very long :( They started chipping within a few hours at work. I think the culprit is that I didn't prep well enough. I used a exfoliating scrub before polishing and I don't think I removed the residual oils from that.... Oh well, lesson learned!
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze Shower Together, which hopefully you guys have already seen more accurate swatch pictures before. It's more blue green than my camera sees it as.
Then I sponged on some OPI Sparkle-icious from the Burlesque collection near my cuticle.
Blinged it out with rhinestones of different sizes and colors. I used a light blue, dark purple, and hot pink. One light purple rhinestone made it's way onto my pinky by accident. I gave it permission to stay and hang out.
