Erika @ Chloe's Nails did a fantastic feather mani here that definitely caught my eye. I had been on the hunt for feathers since she posted her mani. I found some today at my local Michael's Craft Store! Check out how mine turned out!
This is just as awesome in person as it was on Erika's blog! I love this and will do many more...
Here is the package of feathers I found at Michael's.
It has a ton of different colors! And I absolutely adore the ones with polka dots. This package was under $3.
I didn't use the Elmer glue like Erika did in her blog post. I just laid it on wet Seche Vite and lightly pressed it down, then went over it with two coats over the top.

You can see the size of the original feathers in this pic. I picked the smallest feathers out of the bag and snipped off the end with the polka dots. I just had to cut them a little to shape them to my nail.

ReplyDeleteYes gals! Everyone needs some feathers in their life! Go out and hunt some down like I did. This mani really wasn't hard at all! Anyone could do it and it looks very complicated!
