Gumballs Anyone?

After this post that turned out looking like gumballs.... Natalie commented "I could totally see you designing a little red gumball machine on the ring finger, too! That would be SO cute! :)" Well Natalie your wish has been granted. Here you go:

I only did this one accent nail. You could follow the pics from the gumball post to design all of the other nails.

 Would you like to see how I did it?

White base (this is OPI Alpine Snow Matte)

Guidelines to place the gumballs in. Doesn't have to be neat, this will get covered up by the end. Stick to half moon area and a general french tip shape. In hindsight I think it would have been cuter if I had done a more domed french tip. My gumball machine ended up a bit flat! Lol

Start adding dots one color at a time. Allow enough dry time so that the colors do not run together. Just a minute or so.

 

 

 

 

 

 Fill in the machine areas with red.

 Add silver for the hardware and outline the gumball globe and machine base in black.

 Topcoat and some highlight lines in white!

I think this is just too cute. I will definitely use this as my accent nail should I do a similar design in the future.
