China Glaze Lemon Fizz won out as the most liked. So here it is, a full mani + a step by step tutorial.
Solid mani of ChG Lemon Fizz - or background of choice
I use a paper plate as my paint palette. This was the dark brown I already had. Tiny paintbrush. Blob of paint.
The paint is too thick straight out of the bottle. So I added two drops of water off the end of my paintbrush and mixed it in to thin the consistency. You may need to do this again before you're done with all of the nails. The paint is steadily drying on the plate, just add water a drop at a time and keep going.
I choose one "spot" to start with on each nail. For this one I started in the middle. I used a picture for reference. It's important to get the shape right, you can cover any thin spots with a second coat later.
See? A second coat makes it all better. Don't worry about any bumps, those won't be visible after a topcoat. Less bumps and lumps if you are careful and do several thin coats rather than blobbing it on. ;)
Then just work your way around the first "spot" following your reference picture.
Then topcoat to see their beauty!
If anyone is able to use this, I would LOVE to see your pics!
