Broken Hearted and Crushed Candy for V-day

That sounds like the worst possible valentines day ever. But I'm single and just got my China Glaze crackle polishes in the mail today so it was my present!

I saw shatter polish being used to make "broken" heart designs over at Painted Tips and I thought it was GENIUS! Click here to see her design.

Crushed Candy is very close to For Audrey and Broken Hearted is very close to Laced Up, so those are the polishes I used. For the hearts, I had some scrapbooking stickers that were circles with hearts of the right size in the middle of them. So using an xacto blade I trimmed out the inside to made a stencil.

Check out the various patterns that occured for the hearts. I think they look awesome.

I don't know how I missed this... It looks so fun, although I don't like broken hearts at all. :)) I bet next year won't be any broken hearts manicures. :P
